Six-Vehicle Crash In Brisbane’s North Triggered Traffic Delays – A Man Critically Injured!

Day by day, the number of vehicle collisions on the roads is soaring high. Recently, a horrific crash happened in Brisbane’s north around the mid-day on December 13, involving six vehicles including a truck. Following this incident, the emergency crews and police were called to the crash scene and Webster Road in Chermside West was closed.

A man who is in his 30s got trapped in his car. He was stabilised by paramedics and cut out by firefighters. After getting him out of the car, he was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious injuries in a critical condition. A teen-boy along with two men and a woman all in their 40s were also hospitalised. The Queensland Ambulance Service said that they were in a stable condition.  Still five more people were also attended by paramedics and they were not taken to hospital as they all seem to be fine.

A truck carrying a container and five cars involved in the crash. Police said that the crash might be triggered when the truck hit the red convertible. Police also added that the domino effect resulted in the crashes involving other vehicles.

Tim Molly, the fire fighter, said that the truck was pinned into the vehicle and extrication could be made only from the side of the vehicle. He also added that the ambulance officers stabilised the patient, and this helped them a lot in getting the gentleman out.
