The Alleged Driver Ploughs His Car Into Sydney Car Wash – Luckily No One Was Killed!

Driving under the influence of alcohol or impaired driving continues to be a serious traffic risk for the entire country. An impaired driver lacks the ability to react decisively to avoid accidents and even perform the regular driving manoeuvre. In addition to be a crime, drunk-driving also causes accidents that could lead to disfigurement, paralysis and even death.

A car wash business has turned out to be a crash scene when a vehicle smashed into the business, causing tens of thousands of dollars in damage. A video from the car wash centre revealed that the sedan missed the driveway and ploughed into the car wash, almost hitting an employee. It was suspected that the man behind the wheel was over the legal blood alcohol limit.

Boris Erkes, who was a spectator, said that it was fortunate that no one was seriously injured in the accident. He also added that the driver of the sedan continued into the car wash where he would have killed almost six people, but he is fortunate that he did not kill anyone there.

The colleagues of the car wash centre rushed to help the driver get out from the car, but he managed to get out himself and tried to run away. It was understood that the driver, aged in his 20s, was allegedly four times more than the legal blood alcohol limit to drive.

The owner of the car wash told that the damage bill is estimated to be around $30,000 and he should have to close his business.
