COVID Guidelines & Updates

Learner drivers can book their driving lessons with Sprint Driving School as COVID restrictions ease out in Victoria. We remain committed to prioritizing safety and have updated our procedures to align with the latest government guidelines. In light of the ongoing pandemic, we mandate both instructors and students to wear masks during lessons. Our school has implemented rigorous sanitization protocols and other necessary measures to exceed safety requirements. These precautions are in place to safeguard the well-being of our staff, instructors, and learner drivers, ensuring a secure learning environment. Stay informed about our COVID guidelines and updates to navigate these challenging times confidently.

VicRoads has announced that customers whose tests were suspended during lockdowns can complete their transactions, including registration and license renewals online. Priorities are given to customers with suspended appointments, and new appointments cannot be made.

A few guidelines on taking license testing have been declared by VicRoads and are as follows:

License Testing for Customers in Metropolitan Melbourne:

From 1 November 2021, driving license testing will resume in Metropolitan Melbourne. So, customers belonging to this region with suspended appointments can re-book their license testing (both drive tests and computer-based tests) online from Monday 25 October. Customers will be contacted directly and given information on how to re-schedule their appointment online. new appointments in metropolitan Melbourne cannot be booked.

License Testing for Customers in Regional Victoria:

Online registration is temporarily available only to customers in Metropolitan Melbourne. Customers in regional Victoria can book their driving license test at any of their nearest regional VicRoads Customer Service Centres in person or over the phone by calling 1300 305 563.

License Testing Online:

VicRoads has also stated that all eligible customers with a myVicRoads Account can take learner permit test and hazard perception test online. As long as you have a smart device with internet connection, you can complete the test online.
